About
About UC4
The US-China Common Concern Committee (UC4) is a civil-society initiative that connects American and Chinese institutions working on the same global problems.
Mission
To build working partnerships between the United States and China on shared concerns such as health, food security, and artificial intelligence, so that practical cooperation continues regardless of the political climate.
What we do
- Connect counterpart institutions in both countries around a specific problem.
- Convene expert working sessions.
- Publish practical outcomes and recommendations.
What we are not
Not a government body
UC4 does not represent or speak for either government.
Not a sister-cities program
We pair institutions by shared problem, not by geography.
Work with us
If your organization works on one of our areas of concern, we would like to hear from you.
